Today, November 8, Russu George, deputy director of the Center for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption (CCECC) presented to the Parliament draft law on ratification of the Agreement establishing the International Academy of Anti-Corruption as an international organization, adopted in Vienna on 2nd of September 2010 and signed by the Republic Moldova on 21st of December 2010.

CCECC director, Viorel Chetraru, presented the draft law amending and supplementing certain acts, which contains amendments to a number of legislative acts (Criminal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Law on the system enforcement, the Law on Public Procurement Act and Code of Conduct for civil servants), during the Government session, today, November 11.

Delegation of the Center for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption participated at the Asset Recovery Offices meeting, organized by the European Commission and the Police Headquarters in Poland in cooperation with Europol on the methods and exchange of information on the international recovery of assets, held between 24 - 25 October 2011, in Warsaw, Poland.
