On March 20, at 3 p.m. within the precincts of Centre for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption, will take place the odinary session of Monitoring Group for implementation of National Strategy for preventing and combating corruption.

The Monitoring Group will meet in a new structure, elaborated according to the President of Moldova Decree number 1537-IV, from February 28, 2008.

During the meeting it will be approved the Monitoring Group's activity program for 2008, inclusively schedule regarding reporting chart of institutions within Monitoring Group sessions.

A report regarding the implementation of GRECO recomandations to Moldova, will be stated in detail by prosecutor A. Vicleanschi, representative of Moldova at GRECO. With reference to GRECO number VI recpmandation, it will be discussed the congruent references between National Anti-corruption Strategy and Strategy of Reforming Central Public Administration. It will also be examined the report regarding the colaboration Republic of Moldova within Regional Anti-corruption Initiative.

Press agencies and radio representatives are invited to the session.
