GRECO

The Group of States Against Corruption (GRECO) was created in 1999 by the Council of Europe.

The Republic of Moldova adhered to GRECO by Law nr 297-XV from 22.06.2001.

    Legea nr. 297-XV din 22.06.2001.  

The GRECO’s main objective is to enhance its members capacities to fight against corruption.

GRECO supervise, by the means of the dynamic process of evaluation and mutual coercion, in order to make its member states to practically apply the undertaken engagements by adhering to specific international juridical instruments.

The procedure of individual evaluation of hte member states is realized the GRECO’s statute.
