Internal Security Department
The Department of internal security is an operative body with priority authorities in matters related to the internal security and inspection of staff.
Among the imperative functional responsibilities of the Department, one may consider the Internal Action Plan aimed to prevent corruption amongst the Center’s Officers (as set out in the provisions of National Strategy for the Prevention and Combating of Corruption).
The Department develops and implements investigation procedures and the recruitment of candidates according to the specific professional requirements.Simultaneously the Department of internal security in collaboration with the international
experts has elaborated indicators of evaluating the loyalty of the staff to the new ethic standards. The results of these evaluations will be used in order to determine the advancement and promotion criteria and the ethic standards.
The Department is currently working upon a new recruitment policy for the vacant places based on integrity and trust in order to assure that only the best candidates will be selected for the vacant places. This process is based on a mechanism designed to assure transparency in the employment of staff on the basis of equitable competition.
Also special attention is paid to the reforming of the Department in order to be transformed into a pro-active subdivision with a highly qualified staff.
