Administration and Logistics Department

As a structural subdivision of the Center for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption, the General Department for logistics and administration performs the coordination and general management of the administrative services within the Center and its general territorial Departments, monitors the observation of law by these Departments.

The activity of this Department is centered on the implementation of administrative tasks, procurement and efficient exploitation of automobiles, performance of organizational and practical tasks for the consolidation of the Center’s material and technical facilities; efficient administration of investments and economic mechanisms in the construction-reconstruction and installation works, supervision of the approvals of design and cost breakdown documentation, supervision of construction and installation, repair, capital renovation and current repair works.

Also this Department is responsible for the integrity of the Center’s real estate, for contracting businesses via the Agency of Material Reserves, Public Acquisitions and Humanitarian Aid for the procurement of goods, services and works, as well as for the monitoring of performance of the relevant commercial obligations by the said businesses.

Within the limits of its competence, the Department also manages the civil defense activities within the Center. The Center’s main office in Chisinau was completely renovated. There were provided good sports halls, a canteen, a hall for festive occasions and a museum, good working conditions were provided for all the officers of the Center with no exceptions.

Also the Center’s drivers have special restroom spaces. The Department has provided a significant contribution to the renovation and equipment of General territorial Departments of Balti and Cahul.

In order to exercise its duties efficiently, the General Department for Logistics and Administration cooperates with the other subdivisions of the Center within the limits of its competence and participates in the solution of common problems, collaborating with the central and local public authorities and businesses.
