Operative Facilities Department
The Department of operative facilities is meant to provide technical-operative assistance for the Center’s activities.
The Departments’ basic responsibilities include:
- maintenance of operation and upgrading of the Center’s technical tools with observation of safety requirements;
- elaboration, administration and development of the Center’s informational system, including the maintenance and consolidation of the said system;
- elaboration and implementation of special applied programs;
- administration of the Center's databases;
- training of staff in all fields and tasks related to the Center’s informational system;
- updating and maintenance of the Center’s web server and mailbox administration;
- performance of judiciary and criminological expertise and investigations referred to the competence of the Center.
Besides the other numerous obligations specific for its activity, the Department of operative facilities is also responsible for the elaboration of comments to the draft normative and legal acts directly related to the Department’s activity.
The Department fruitfully collaborates with other specialized institutions and organizations, its officers participate at various conferences, symposia and other specialized meetings.
Taking into consideration the specific status of the Department and the need for special physical training of staff, special attention is paid to these requirements.
Owing to the professionalism of the Department’s staff, the Center’s officers benefit of a high quality assistance in the use and exploitation of electronic and telecommunication networks, criminological expertise and other technical assistance.
