Scientific activity

The scientific achievements of the officers are also a good asset for the Center’s progress. Currently in the Center are employed:

- 28 candidates for the master’s degree;

- 18 masters of law;

- 1 master in economics;

- 1 master in sociology;

- 1 master in political sciences.

Also, 1 employee has doctor’s degree in economics - Arcadie Rotaru, and 1 has doctor's degree in law - Radu Cotici. They combine their service duties with scientific activity and use their accumulated experience for the elaboration of new approaches to various phenomena and processes and participate together with the representatives of public authorities and civil society
and competent foreign bodies at various conferences aimed at consulting the public opinion concerning the phenomenon of corruption and discussion of reports on the obtained progress and difficulties met by the competent authorities in the process of implementation of the Strategy and Action Plan for the years 2005-2006.

The materials of the said conferences got reflected in the books on the theme „Progress and perspectives in the combating of corruption”. Presently are in edition two works dedicated to the two conferences.
The published articles have revealed a real interest to the considered themes. For example, the author of the article Opportunity of anticorruption education as a method for preventing the corruption phenomenon” sustains that the anti-corruption education has a significant role in the formation and modeling of social consciousness and perception of corruption. Another author has stressed the role of the Institutional Ethics Code in the combating of corruption as being aimed at supporting the staff and the students in the identification and solution of moral problems that may appear in the period of employment and studies. Certain anti-corruption activity aspects were identified for the Court of Accounts, for the Licensing Chamber and Frontier Troops, as well as the economic aspects of the impact of corruption onto the traffic of human beings. Also, there has been considered the perception and the attitude towards the phenomenon of corruption in the Republic of Moldova.

The scientific potential of the Center will be considerably increased in the nearest future, as 45 persons have not finished their post-university education, out of them there are 17 candidates for the doctor’s degree and 28 for the master’s degree.
